Too long but never too late

I shall stop procrastinating!
So many years since the last blog.... So wonderful to read the words of yesterday.
If not for them, easily forgotten.

Evan is now 3 yrs and 8 months.
Ethan is already a young man...

Can't seem to add photo from iPad, not good :(

I am a BIG BROTHER

I saw my lil bro on 15th Dec 2007. Mama said his name is Evan Elijah, and he gave me a present when I visited him at Mt Eliz. Hmmm, his eyes were constantly closed, and each time I wanted to plant a kiss or hold him, it was "No Ethan, Titi is still very small, ...", and I was upset. Hmph! Why do they keep saying I was jealous? What's that? I only want to cuddle him....

The day mummy brought home the cane

8th July : mummy came to pick me and my friend Xavier from Berries and I noticed a stick in the bag...drats, it was a cane.
Mummy said she had screamed enough the previous week and that I was getting out of hand.
The past week, Papa had been away and I had been screaming every morning whilst getting ready for school. It must have scared little baby in the womb as well.
I was again naughty during bath time and I refused to bathe even after many "verbal warnings".
Mum flicked the cane at my buttocks and OUCHHHHH....I wailed.

Sat and Sun : Mum did art and craft with me...I could now spell *SUN* and *CAR*.

Monday to Thurs : I have been a good boy this week, getting ready for school without crying, except for today, I was still tired, but least I didnt struggle.

Yeh, Papa is coming home tomorrow!

mummy and holis!

Mummy has been rather quiet lately, and papa has been keeping me company most of the time. Mummy has been experiencing severe nausea and loss in appetite, and having excessive saliva, she had to throw up frequently. So at times, she just goes "um-hm", and I'd ask, "Mama, why you say um-hm" and she'd point to her mouth, and I'd know better.
Once mama even got admitted to hospital and stayed there for 2 days so that some liquids could go through for nourishment.
Nowadays, she also puts my palm at her tummy (tho' I still feel no bump or see no difference), and I'd say " Baby, I am your Gor-Gor, please be nice, and let mummy feel better. I Love you.", and I end with a peck on the tummy. Orrh....I know, after that, mummy will give me a big hug.

I am happy these few days because every morning when I wake up and ask "Is today my holiday?", the answer has always been "Yes, it is!". "Hooray! wonder how much longer this will last..."

once a while

The past 4 yweeks have been a roller coaster ride... First we have a perfectly fun and hoppy kid... bouncing, prancing around, biting every body's butt (poor Maryann and mama), scratching any bare bodied souls (poor gong gong), scratching unknowing faces (poor popo and gong gong and papa), ....quite a feat for a lil under 3 yr old boy, on top of the usual alarming swings, jumps, climbs, screams, fire alarm cries, and in between each "hi mama, what did you buy today?..for me?..."

then we suddenly were hit with a fierce attack bout of flu, cough, phlegm, wheezing, breathlessness and fever....woa....this time, mama was left quite tired out every day, on top of the non sensical workload of having to sort and write useless piles of reports for a shopping mall she would hardly ever visit....ha!

The total 4 trips to the doctor totalled a whopping $600 at least....

Looking at you breathing through the nabuliser was heart wrenching...but you did look quite cute and lovable....lugging back the machine each time after the review, hoping to leave it back at the clinic but nope...Ethan needs to continue with breathing....

Well, we've got past that now....great....next we move to the next stage...preventer puff....

Every once a while, we learn new things, we push the limits.
